(Episode 265; 13min 08) The latest State of Spam report from Symantec shows that spam continues to account for about 90% of all email traffic.
Robert Pregnall from Symantec says its important that you aren’t part of the low-hanging fruit. These days a spam message could even be an email from someone you know, so you need to be wary about what you open and click from.
On today’s BTalk Australia Phil Dobbie talks to Robert about trends in spam. Are we protected when we start using our mobile devices for email? What about the influence of social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter? More importantly, how do we beat the spammers?

RE: Spam, Spam, Spam and More Spam | BTalk Australia
I set up SpamBayes to deal with it - the bayesian logic is very impressive and it removes over 2000 spam, faultlessly, from my inbox daily
