(Episode 291; 11 minutes 50) We learnt in the last BTalk Australia how Gen Y expect instant access to information, which has a significant impact on how technology is used to meet the service demands of this generation.

Today we hear from Telstra’s Rocky Scopelliti. He has just written a white paper on the subject called “ICT as a driver to improve service to Generation Y for Financial Services”. He says we should be aware of the increase in use of converged devices, the use of social networking communities and the increased use of video content.

So what should the finance industry, or any other service industry, be doing to meet the changing demands brought about by Gen Y? Rocky identifies five trends that business needs to be ready to meet.
